Despite forgetting something, and nearly missing my bus, I did make it to Dublin :)|
My hotel does seem to have been well chosen (by me!), since it's in the heart of Temple Bar (lots of art, restaurants etc). It's also a very nice walk from there to the conference hotel, so all's good. There's even plenty of different routes to wander, for openstreet mapping.
As one would expect for a geeky conference, there's wireless everywhere. Impressively, they've laid on a 100mbps uplink, and you get interenet routeable IP addresses. Now that's how it should be :)
I'm not planning to blog the whole event, but I might mention a few interesting bits if I remember (and my laptop battery lasts - power points seem to be the only thing there's not enough of!)
