Currently trying to write time-sensitive multi-threading perl code
A fairly simple thing was easy to set up, but the first couple of loops of each thread was slowed down due to the setup of the other threads. Trouble is, elapsed time not program time is important, so this isn't much help
I'm currently trying all the various techniques I know from all the parallel methodologies I know (Java with threads, MPI, parallel single tasks etc), but I can't seem to quite get it right, grr....
Why does parallel programming have to be so difficult? More importanatly, why do all the different environments behave so differently? Most pesky....
