Three Dead Trolls [Nov. 23rd, 2003|06:09 pm]
[music |Three Dead Trolls in a Baggie - Paul's Financial Report]

Some of you may remember the Canadian comedy group "Three Dead Trolls In A Baggie" from their 2000 internet sweeping hit "Every OS Sucks". I must admit that I hadn't listened to their stuff for quite some time, until a few weeks ago.

Whilst reading the daily strip at http://www.userfriendly.org/ a few weeks back, I spotted an advert for a Three Dead Trolls "Geek Disc", a CD of videos, audio sketches etc. I decided to buy a copy on a whim, and hopefully should have a copy of it shortly (got to wait for it to come from Canada)

On hearing about mp3.com throwing away all their audio collection following a takeover, I remembered that it was on mp3.com that I first grabbed a few Three Dead Trolls tracks. So, I decided I probably ought to follow the advice on their website, and try to grab their tracks from mp3.com before it goes under.

So, I now have an impressive 180mb of Three Dead Trolls tracks, which I'm now making my way through. It really is great stuff, so if anyone else wants a copy, give me a shout and I'll post you a CD of it (I believe that's allowed under the terms they distribute their material under)

Now, back to some serious listening....

Update: The trolls have spoken (see comment, how cool is that!), so I won't now do copies, instead grab the stuff from their site. Oh, and buy "The Geek Disc" from them too, it's great (see later entries)

Hey! That's not allowed!

Well, maybe it is, but I'd rather you didn't re-sell our stuff... we put most of our mp3s on ampcast, and our own site, and we sell albums through ampcast... please don't steal our stuff, or drop us a paypal donation if you do!

Re: Hey! That's not allowed!

I should point out that offer was only supposed to be there for my friends rather than randoms...

But since it's all back online again, those not living in my house will just have to buy or download their own copies.

Now to go write a review of their "The Geek Disc" multimedia cd thingy
